The hands-on experience is essential for employment, and graduates may also take the National Certification Examination which is important to local employers. The program prepares students for employment in hospitals, laboratories, and physicians’ offices and provides exposure to the laboratory environment. After completion, students may transfer into the Medical Clinical Laboratory Technician Program.
